La Monte Youngも学生として学んだ人物として知られ、ナンとJohn Cageの電子音楽クラスの講師も務めていたアメリカの電子音楽家/作曲家、Richard Maxfield。オランダのフルクサス/アート系再発レーベルSlowscanより14年にリリースされた60年代レア音源集。数々の貴重な音源収録の盤ですが、ナンと言っても目を引くのが、La Monte Youngの61年の貴重な録音ではないかと。現代音楽/電子音楽の歴史を紐解く重要な資料となる一枚。
