Notes
This was officially a Text of Light show, with Nels substituting for Lee Ranaldo at the last minute. It was part of the label Table of the Elements' Copernicum Festival at Issue Project Room, where Rhys Chatham's Guitar Trio was performed by a group led by Jonathan Kane. Alan first met William in 1988, when saw him play in a record store with Donald Miller. He taped the show and offered to send him a copy; they've stayed in touch ever since. Alan played with Nels at Tonic with Lee and Carlos Giffoni, and Carlos released the show on his No Fun label as "Nothing Makes Any Sense."
