SUICIDE Suicide (Rare original 1977 UK Red Star Records label 7-track vinyl LP - Classic debut album from the '70s NY underground, distorted beats and synths from Martin Rev mixed with Alan Vega's howls and whispers, make this a precursor to post-punk, industrial, techno and beyond. The picture sleeve is in VG condition with evidence of age discolouration and shelfwear to the edges / corners however, this copy also displays the gold embossed promotional stamp to the back [the first stamped copy we've had] and the vinyl itself looks barely played with only light spindlewear to the labels evident! 廃盤だった名作が再プレス！！ハードコアな作風でもお馴染みスウェーデンのベテラン作家Carl Michael Von Hausswolffの2015年新作CD。ラジオ放送の為に用意された[Circulating Over Square Waters]と、ウルグアイの墓地で採取したマテリアルによる[Cementerio Del Norte]、長尺の二曲による構成。特に[Circulating...]の方は意識が吹っ飛ぶ程のディープな虚無持続音が支配する最高に美しい世界観。


1. Circulating Over Square Waters (ZKM Kubus)
Recorded at ZKM Kubus, Karlsruhe, on March 10, 2013. Broadcast on SWR on February 4, 2014 and awarded the Karl Sczuka Prize for Radio Art in 2014. A co-production of Südwestrundfunk with the Institute for Music and Acoustics at ZKM | Center for Art and Media Karlsruhe 2013. Produced by Frank Halbig (SWR) and Till Kniola (ZKM).

2. Cementerio del Norte
Original material sampled at the North Cemetery (German WWII section) in Montevideo, Uruguay, December 2013. Audio frequencies extracted using emission spectroscopy was done in January 2014 at Linköping University, Sweden. Composed at the Castle, Stockholm in February and March 2014. This piece is also the soundtrack to the film Death In Montevideo (Cementerio del Norte) directed by Jan Håfström, CM von Hausswolff and J-P Fabra Guemberena and commissioned by Wanås Konst, Sweden for the exhibition Unvergessen / Graf Spee III.

Robert Haigh's 'Cold Pieces' is the companion collection to 2012's Time Will Say Nothing 4Lp-Set by SEMA.

These two compilations represent Robert Haigh's earliest output - covering most of the eighties (1982 to 1989.) Where 'Time Will Say Nothing' focused on Haigh's darker and more industrial period, 'Cold Pieces' represents the evolution into more piano based experimentation.

The music of Cold Pieces is haunting and evocative, employing fragile melodies and discordant twists. And as with his later works, the music here is both minimal yet mysterious, reflective yet challenging.

Included in this collection is the United Dairies album 'Valentine Out Of Season', the CD only 'A Waltz In Plain C'. Also represented are the much sought after LAYLAH EPs ('Juliet Of The Spirits' and 'Music From The Ante Chamber') and a collection of never released before improvisations and preludes entitled 'Dead Airs (Lost Sessions 1985/86)'.

ブライアン・イーノが90年代に世に送り出したコラボレーション作品の名盤、ジョン・ケイルとの『Wrong Way Up』(1990)が、リリース30周年を記念し、待望の再発決定!
CDとLPで再発されるのは15年振りとなる。

ロキシー・ミュージックとヴェルヴェット・アンダーグラウンドというレフトフィールド音楽を語る上で欠かせない両革新的バンドにおいて、創作の中心として活躍した二人のアイコンによる共作となった1990年の『Wrong Way Up』。

1974年にお互いのレコードにゲスト・ミュージシャンとして参加し、また同年ケヴィン・エアーズ、ジョン・ケイル、ニコ、ブライアン・イーノによる伝説のライヴ・アルバム『June 1, 1974』を発表、それ以来二人は交流を続け『Wrong Way Up』の前年にも、イーノがケイルのアルバム『Words For The Dying』をプロデュースしている。

長年に渡って育まれた二人の信頼関係が結実した本作は、ブライアン・イーノにとって1977年の『Before and After Science』以来のボーカル作品という点でも大きな注目を集め、「Spinning Away」と「Been There Done That」というシングルヒットを生んだ。

今回のリイシュー盤ではオリジナルの収録曲に加えて、シングル「Spinning Away」のB面としてリリースされた「Grandfather’s House」と「Palanquin」がボーナストラックとして追加収録される。

１９２６年生れで２０１７年に故人となったイタリアはヴェーネト州カステルフランコ出身の現代音楽系ヴァイオリニストにして作曲家、ジュストピオの７９年発となるソロ名義リーダー作。オリジナルＬＰ盤のリリースはイタリアクランプスからのリリースで、現在ではクランプス盤としては例外的に高プレミアム価格となっている現代音楽物の人気作。本掲載版はそれの正規再発ＣＤ盤として２００４年にＣｒａｍｐｓ Ｅｄｅｌからリマスター高音質のうえ、３面開きデジパック装丁でリリースされたもの。これ以前の再発盤としては通常のプラケース版で９６年に再発が実現するものの、すぐにプレス切れで入手困難になっていたマニアック物件。といっても現在ではどちらも入手困難になっていて、Ｃｒａｍｐｓの国内再発シリーズからも漏れてしまったという経緯。本作の編成は２台のオルガン、ジュストピオ自身が弾くヴァイオリン、ヴォーカルによる楽曲１６分とオルガンとピアノによる楽曲１４分の２作品を収録。内容はオルガンの白昼夢的ドローンが亡霊みたいに漂う中を音程を揺らしながらヨレを発生させるすヴァイオリンとアシッドサイケデリックな鼻歌ヴォイスが合わさったまんまボワ～～っと彼岸へ飛んでいく激ヤバ内容。ほとんど現代音楽というよりもユーリカミサスカとかクラウディオロッキとか７０年代の前衛期フランコバッティアート名作群とかにも通じる陶酔イタリアンサイケ筋そのもの。GIUSTO PIO-motore immobile(cramps edel)（引用）

"C"RAYOLAに"K"RAYOLAはもちろん、未発表に終わった70年のアシッド・カントリーな『CORKY'S』アウトテイク・ソロ楽曲、初期KRAYOLAのメンバーRICK BARTHELMEも参加していたSADDLESORE名義の70年レア・シングル、76年のライヴ音源、海を渡ってプロデューサーとしても参加した79-81年ごろ初期ROUGH TRADEからの諸作、PERE UBUのALLEN RAVENSTINEやSWELL MAPSのEPIC SOUNDTRACKS、RAINCOATSのGINA BIRCH、ESSENTIAL LOGICのLORA LOGICらと組んだ80年代MAYOを代表する一枚に、93年から99年のシカゴな諸作などなど、アシッドに塗れた初期の印象よりもポップで耳馴染み良い実験的アプローチが広がる上質アヴァンギャルド・ロックンロール集に仕上がった名作です。（引用）
